After we have facilitated the discovery session we have pretty much covered your brand strategy. We would then take a week to digest everything and put together a cohesive strategy document we like to call Brand Concept. This acts as a solid foundation for your brand and leads us to the design transit stage: Creative Brief.
Taking in all the feedback from our meeting, we build on the creative brief and dive deep into making and fine-tuning. Our seamless build-up towards the design stage allows us to concentrate on our craft, knowing the exact direction we are taking.
You will be presented with your own visual identity and stationery system to review and give feedback on. Thanks to our collaborative process, we rarely have a lot of refinement requests. With that said, we encourage feedback at every stage because we are in this together and want both parties to be proud of and true to every outcome we create.
Getting to know you and your business is the most essential part of our process because we want to provide you with more than aesthetics. We believe this isn't possible to do with a questionnaire and independent research where you are left out of the conversation. This is why we facilitate a workshop in-person (or online) to get to the bottom of your story. You and your team are essential participants because no one knows your business better than you. We have developed special exercises to help both of us explore and gain clarity (prepare yourself for a lot of 'ah-ha' moments!). Over a day we will gain insight into your brand persona, purpose, vision, goals, and customers. This will lead us to the collective brainstorm of ideas that actually priorities your business and problem-solving.
This is a stepping stone towards your visual identity design. Based on the strategic brand concept, we develop a visual board (not to be confused with mood-board) that provides taste samples of your brand identity - think of it as a prototype. In our experience, traditional mood-boards are not enough to effectively translate ideas and leave too much ambiguity. Besides, we want to include you every step of the way, avoiding the 'big reveal' moment. This will be presented to you during a meeting, where we will guide you through each creative decision. This is time for your feedback and discussion about what we can expand on and what we can leave behind.
Depending on the scope of the project that we have agreed on during our discovery session, we will be expanding and applying your brand identity to packaging, web, etc.
Once everything is done and approved, we will share a private download page on our website with you. We deliver projects in a variety of formats, but if you need something specific, just ask and we will provide you with whatever it is you need.
